About us

Welcome to Global Government Venturing

Global Government Venturing is both a monthly magazine and website written for the venture capital units funded by governments, as well as those responsible for setting tax and legal policies affecting the venture and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The monthly magazine covers the major economies' direct minority equity investment and limited partner commitment to venture capital funds, as well as the tax and legal policies affecting the venture and entrepreneurial ecosystem, across the year to provide the most comprehensive data and analysis of their activities, as well as the best comment from the most highly-regarded thinkers. This culminates each year in a directory of top government venturing programmes at an annual event.

In addition, the news section on the website rounds up the previous months deal activity, people moves and regulatory and other relevant stories. The website covers the most important stories relevant to government venturers and offers a push-service email newsletter each week.

The title is published by Mawsonia, which also produces the Global Corporate Venturing and Global University Venturing titles.

Subscribers can gain access to the monthly PDF, published data and website as well as search the archive of previous articles as well as special issues and reports.

Global Government Venturing licenses are sold on a global team-wide basis with economies of scale depending on the number of users. Find out more about subscription options.
